About this object

Both halves of Easter egg are decorated with a series of panels, curved at one end, and alternately of formalized floral motifs in various colors on a stippled gilt ground and patterns in gilt wire on a turquoise ground, the whole in filgree enamel. Bordering dots are of white enamel.
