About this object

Central portion is a vase in purple glass mounted in ormolu. It has short foot in ormolu and a larger one in white marble wich rests on a square marble plinth. From four sides of the top of vase spring four S-shaped ormolu branches with ormolu boceches. There are three other branches which support a large crystal star and a large crystal teardrop pendant. Each of the bobeches has a large teardrop pendant also. From the top of the vase projects an ormolu cone which supports a long slender toothed pyramid. At top of this is an ormolu tip which supports a crystal disc and six branches with crystal drops.
