About this object

The compote is made from a glass bowl set on a metal base. The ovoid glass bowl has a middle section cut with a crisscross design and fleurettes along the upper edge. This rests on a foot in the shape of a swan with outspread wings and tail, which in turn rests on an oblong base with acanthus motifs in openwork.
