About this object

The rectangular base of the frame is made from pink marble with a band of ormolu beading along the top edge. The rectangular frame has beading along the edges. At the base are leaves and branches, which end on either side with a cornucopia of flowers and support the frame. At the top are sprays of leaves and flowers is a swag and circular design. The frame holds a miniature of Adelaide, Marjorie Post's daughter. She is a little girl and holds a dog on her lap. She wears a fancy dress with a large bow in her hair.
