About this object

The rectangular base of the frame is made from lazurite with two steps and a band of beading. The oval frame is made from ormolu. There is a mask at the center of the base from which extend branches, leaves and flowers to the left and right. At each side of the frame is a lyre on top of a cluster of flowers. At the top is an openwork medallion with an interlaced monogram in blue enamel. The frame holds a miniature of MMP and Deenie. Mrs. Post is to the left and is holding Dina as a baby in her arms to the right.
