About this object

Around the upper and lower edges of the tumbler shaped charka are floral borders in silver against a nielloed background. Around the middle is a checquer board design engraved and gilt. Interrupted by two medallions one with a view of a town with churches as seen from a river and inscribed. The other with a view of a public building as seen from river and inscribed. Buildings are engraved on silver with detials in niello. Interior is gilt.
