About this object

The cup is gilt and set in a silver basket en repoussé. This basket consisting of an interlace of branches, fruit and clouds with three winged cherubim and three cartouches, three of them inscribed: [transcription] and one with [transcription]. The knob has three winged cherub's heads en repoussé. The lobate base has three winged cherub's heads and three cartouches surrounded with branches and within the cartouches the symbols of the Passion.
