About this object

The frame is possibly a composite, one frame set in another. The exterior frame has a reeded border with crossed ribbons at intervals. Inside the ground is roughly stippled and at the top are two swans joined by a swag with a wreath above. The interior frame is a simple Greek key border. The glass is beveled at the edges. The photo is of Aleksandra and is probably cut from a postcard. Her name probably from the same card is taped on the back. She is wearing pearls (choker and long), a tiara and a low cut dress with flowers at the front. Stand is a long, slim one which flares at the bottom.
