About this object

The sugar bowl has a plain body. Around the top of the body is a row of laurel leaves and berries. The handles have an acanthus leaf at the upper end and a stylized leaf at the lower end. The lower part of the body and the oval foot have each a row of laurel leaves and berries - the interior is gilded. The cover is hinged at one side. There is a piece of ivory at the top.
