About this object

On the handle in repoussé is Samson wrestling with the lion, while in the bottom of the charka is a rosette also in repoussé. Around the bowl in repoussé and light green and dark blue enamel are a series of three paired animals facing the tree-of-life, inscribed in Russian. Between each pair of animals is a floral motif against a background of green enamel with a blue border. Around the upper edge runs a long inscription in Russian.
