About this object

The upper part is covered with repoussé decoration. On one side is a medallion with the bust of the Empress Elizabeth I (Elizaveta Petrovna) facing to the right. On another side is a medallion with the Russian Imperial eagle and on a third side a medallion with the cipher of the Empress, laurel branches and the Imperial crown. Between each two medallions is a star and above and below are fruit and flowers. About the lower part are three small medallions with 1. a bird, 2. a dolphin, 3. a swan, with a star between medallions. The ring foot is plain. Interior is gilded.
