About this object

The rectangular flat bottle is made from glass that has been mounted with gold openwork designed as rococo scrolls. On the front are two cartouches. In one is an altar and in the other a vase. The two cartouches on the back each enclose a branch. The lid looks like a series of waves and is attached to the top by a chain.
