Your first stop is the Visitor Center. Check-in at the information desk.   Your visit begins with a short orientation film and an exhibition on the decorative arts. You can also pick up your free self-guided tour brochure or audio tour.

On the second floor of the Visitor Center, you will find the Museum Shop. A Visitor Resource Area is located on the second floor of the mansion.

After you visit the mansion and gardens, we encourage you to visit the Dacha.

Through December 31, 2004, the Dacha will house Hillwood’s second temporary exhibition, Tradition in Transition: Russian Icons in the Age of the Romanovs, which examines the impact of Western culture on the evolution of Russian religious painting from the seventeenth through the twentieth centuries.
