The bowl is plain except for a slightly domed medallion in the bottom covered front and back with images and inscriptions including St. George and the Dragon and an elaborate coat of arms. The handle is in the form of two intertwined snakes. On the rim of the bowl is engraved "ROUVIER 1794."
